The RS232-ADC converter for PCs is simply connected to the serial interface (9-pin DSUB) of the computer. This module has eight analogue inputs as well as eight digital IOs in a handy casing. Via the inputs the data of the sensors or external electronic devices in a voltage range of 0 - 2.5V can be recorded and processed further. The converter is delivered in series in the extended temperature range and a library in C makes it easier to integrate in the application programs.
