SmallRig 15mm Dovetail Bottom Mount Plate - 4002

The SmallRig 4002 15mm Dovetail Baseplate has a hollowed-out structure and weighs only 300 grams. On the other hand, the plate has a load capacity of 20kg. A 1/4""-20 and 3/8""-16 camera screw lock the camera so it cannot rotate. An integrated wrench in the side makes mounting and dismounting easy.The baseplate features a 1/4""-20 and 3/8""-16 threaded hole on the bottom, which supports quick-release plates. With a low centre of gravity, the plate measures just 38mm in height, so the camera is only 28mm from the dovetail. This lowers the height of the camera while leaving enough room for dual rods.Note: for cameras with a lower centre of the optical axis, a cage or height-riser plate is recommended when used with this product and dual 15mm rods. The centre of the rods is 15mm from the top of the dovetail plate and 13mm from the top of the baseplate.
