Makita's DUM604 is a compact garden shear which is powered by an 18v LXT power tool battery. It is supplied with two separate blades which enable it to be used for trimming grass, hedges or shrubs. Compatibility with Makita's 18v LXT battery range means the DUM604 can be used for much longer periods than competing models with integrated batteries - simply swap out the battery when it is drained or use with a high capacity battery for maximum runtime. This model is supplied as a bare tool (without battery or charger). It can be used with the battery from any other tool in the Makita 18v LXT range. A complete range of LXT batteries and chargers is also available separately if you require them.
