Epson Maintenance Box ET-8500/8550 Series

This is a very similar Epson maintenance box that is found within the previous EcoTank ET-7750 and EcoTank ET-7700 models. It works as a reservoir trap for when the ink cartridges overflow during loading and setup - requiring replacement only occasionally. Further to this, the maintenance box stores ink that is flushed from the system during print head cleaning. This particular model is best-suited to the Epson ET-8500 EcoTank and Epson ET-8550 EcoTank Printer.
